The story of the Radino Winery<\/strong> started in the 1950s, and is still alive today in the hands of the D’Angelo family<\/strong>, who became its owners in 2015.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

1950s<\/h3>

In the 1950s, Francesco Radino<\/strong>, who cultivated olive tree groves in the luxuriant, sunny land of Lucania, opened a chain of shops in Milan with his brother that exclusively sold his olive oil<\/strong>.

It was a unique initiative at the time, and had enormous success: in very little time, Radino Oil<\/strong> had opened fifteen shops, distributed among the main roads of the city.

Contributing to the recognition of the brand, along with the extraordinary quality of the products, was the advertising and logo designed by Gino Boccasile<\/strong>, a brilliant illustrator at the time.<\/p><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The business was continued by his son, Vincenzo Radino<\/strong>, a unique example of an artist-entrepreneur, painter, olive oil maker, merchant and farmer, who added a few hectares of vineyards<\/strong> to the cultivations in Basilicata.

1977<\/h3>

In 1977<\/strong> in Milan, the Radino family launched Il Germoglio<\/strong>, a pioneering centre for natural nutrition, and started working again on the cultivations on the family estate, which included only three hectares of vineyards and five dedicated to olive trees, continuing the work<\/strong> their grandfather Francesco had started after the war.<\/p><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

2006<\/h3>

In 2006<\/strong>, strengthened by this experience, the Radino family<\/strong> enthusiastically returned to the task of overseeing the land and its production.

They opened the winery in Rapolla nel Vulture<\/strong>, which, starting with a wonderful Aglianico grape produced with measure in a perfect terroir, would produce their Aglianico del Vulture Nòstos<\/strong>, with an austere character, but surprising natural balance and delicacy.<\/p><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2015<\/strong>, the D'Angelo family<\/strong> took the helm of the company, choosing to preserve its strong ethical values and constant search for quality<\/strong>.
